We have been very sad that Pappy's Pumpkin Patch didn't open this year. Luckily, Smiley's Girl Scouts troop went on a field trip to Moore Farms. We went one evening last week, while ACat went to soccer practice (hated to go without her, but that's life sometimes!).
When we arrived, there were several fun things to do before eating hot dogs for supper.
Smiley, Little Bit, and Caboose had a wonderful time selecting pumpkins. We ended up in the pumpkin patch when the sun was going down...it is rather difficult to pick out pumpkins in the dark! It was also a challenge to keep up with 3 kids plus 3 pumpkins alone on the hayride. I really could have used CS and ACat for this outing! But, we made it...just a little worn out and dusty at the end!
My little pumpkin picked out a perfect pumpkin for himself!
