We had a wonderful Valentine's Day on Monday! We had to exchange hugs, kisses, and gifts early because CS worked all day long. But, he and I went out the Thursday night before and enjoyed an evening together. He gave me a beautiful bracelet based on the Scripture from Eccl. 4:12...very touching. And, then he surprised me Monday with these beautiful flowers from French Peas.
He was so sweet and thoughtful with the bouquet...he selected 6 different flowers to be used in the arrangement. He wrote a special note explaining how each kind of flower represented each member of our family and how, just like the flowers go together to make a beautiful "whole", so does each person's individual beauty in our family go together to make one beautiful masterpiece.
That is what God does...He makes us each special and unique in our own way but binds us together in a family (whether a biological family or a "family" of Christian believers). When this happens, "a cord of three (or more) strands is not quickly broken."
Valentine's...what else makes it special besides all the love? Candy, of course!
Caboose was determined to lick the Peeps through the plastic...
Little Bit brought home from school a bucket of candy...
ACat and Smiley thought they were in heaven with Reese's hearts!
Yum!
