We were fortunate to visit several sets of family this holiday! First stop was my cousins in Longview. I grew up with one first cousin (hard to believe, isn't it?!?!), and his two girls are like nieces to me. The oldest has gone from my flower girl to her senior year in the blink of an eye! Caboose didn't work too well with group pictures, though he loved watching MarioKart!
Our next stop was at CS's sister's house in Hallsville. His younger sister and her family had a stomach virus going around, so we missed seeing them. Our oldest niece here is a new driver...where DOES the time go? I met her and CS's family on her 1st birthday...way back when! I had to add a picture of Caboose...do you see what he got on the left-hand side of the pic? Yep, that would be a Reveille Pillow Pet! We have all been fighting over her...what a great gift! Whoop!
We ended up at my mom's and had a special evening attending the Candlelight Service at my home church and having our evening Christmas celebration with Cappie and Connar. A memorable evening!
The day was certainly full...and even included some naps and lots of love!
