This year, Little Bit and Smiley came armed with letters for Santa...
...and they made sure they read them and explained them thoroughly to Santa. As we were leaving, we looked over and Santa was once again reading their letters! I guess he was making sure he knew them by heart! What a sweet old man!
Caboose got close enough to St. Nicholas to give him a high five, but that was all he wanted to do with him. Oh...and the candy cane, too, of course. Got to inch near enough to grab a candy cane and run, you know. But, that's okay. Because, he's our "Perfect Little Man" so he can just run from Santa all he wants!
You might be wondering where ACat was during these exciting moments. Well, she's too old and mature for such things as sitting on Santa's knee. So, she just posed with the rest of the crew for a couple of Christmas pictures. And, she didn't even sigh or roll her eyes at Mommie too much!
Until, it came time to dance around the Christmas Tree. Then, she was happy to perform a special ACat rendition of "The Twelve Days of Christmas"...with all the motions and everything! So glad there's some "little girl" still hiding in there!
I just can't believe Christmas is a week away! It's the most wonderful time of the year!
