From Dirt to Roses

Okay...so we ended Friday night with dirt and a rodeo. Well, we began Saturday bright and early with roses! When people think of our town, they think of two things, right? Yep, you got it - azaleas and ROSES!! The Rose Parade was this weekend. And, even more exciting than that was the fact that ACat was finally old enough to be in the parade with her dance studio. She was on cloud nine!

It was a beautiful fall day, though the sun was a little intense at times. Her group was towards the middle to end of the parade, so we had to wait a little while to wave! But, it was a memory snapshot...one she will never forget.

After we completed our part in the parade and the rose events, we rushed off to a double header with soccer. We were a tad bit pink in the face by the end of the day. Just because it is cooler doesn't mean the sun has let up its intensity! What a fun, busy weekend! These are the days, right?!?!
