All Aboard!

We spent a fabulous day in Dallas this past Thursday! There were many highlights of the day, including a stop by Willow Bend Mall in Plano to see the big Polar Express Snow Globe display. We all enjoyed walking through, looking at the scenes from the movie. Each globe had some interactive component, too. The girls "drove" the train and pull the cord for the train whistle. We got snowed on, too. Yeah...white stuff all in my curly hair wasn't that fun to pick out. But, it still was a memorable experience. At the end, we had the choice of getting our picture with Santa or on the end of the train. We went with the train...something unique! Thursday was a cold day here in Texas, as you can see by the vests, sweaters, jackets, and scarves we are all wearing!

You can't see the snow falling but it is! Is the conductor going to punch our tickets with "Believe"???

We had a great time aboard the Polar Express, ice skating, and riding the Merry-Go-Round! And, I had fun popping into some stores I don't usually get to shop in here in Tyler. I didn't buy much, I promise! :-) The most special part of the day was just being together and getting into the Christmas spirit just a little bit more!
