Slow Motion

These days seem to be in slow motion. You know, when the highlight of your day is mowing the lawn or spending a couple of hours at the sprayground! But, that tends to be our typical mid-summer routine. The beauty of it is when school time swings around, which is always before you know it, you are ready to hit the trail running! Or, I typically am. Ready for routine. Ready to spice up our days once again. But, in the meantime, we are still in those days of slow motion. And, trying our very best to stay out of the extreme heat! Though, I have to say, today wasn't too bad, was it??

Last week, we had a fun play date at Pump It Up with our Sunday School friends. Here are the big girls having a fun slide down:


And, here is Little Bit coming DOWN the ladder leading up to the slide. She decided it looked a little too scary way up there.

One "slow motion" evening, the girls pulled out the good ole Tinkertoys. Check out this Tinkertoy microphone ACat built. Pretty ingenious, huh?!?!
