Only in Texas does spring show up in all its splendor while it's Valentine's Day! Of course, some years we end up with snow on Valentine's (like in 2004) or even around Easter (like 2007)! I guess we just have to remain flexible while living in this wonderful state of ours and just enjoy what comes our way! We always take daffodil pictures at my mom's every spring. They were in full bloom this last weekend, so we ran out to snap our pics.
And, then, of course, we had to play out on the swing set and pull out the picnic items for a nice afternoon in the sun.
Little Bit got up and ran off before we got this group situated on the slide. This is right before they all slid off!
