Happy Halloween!

All the girls had dress-up days at school last week, so they gladly wore their costumes twice for the week!

Little Bit has been so excited about being Minnie Mouse "when she grows up" and she did look all grown up in her costume and when trick-or-treating.

In the last picture, Little Bit is holding up her finger and saying something about "licking the icing off!" The little boy in the Batman costume is "Konnor"...not cousin Connar but the "other" Konnor, as Little Bit often says. This is the main kid she talks about from school...her "best" friend so far. I ask her sometimes if she ever plays with the little girls but she only mentions the little boys. Maybe she is tired of playing with girls all the time at home and is going for something a bit different! :-)

Halloween night was a little hectic, as we also had a soccer tournament this weekend. The last game on Saturday ended at 6:30 and we raced home to ready for our night. We trick-or-treated until around 8:00 and then grabbed a bite of supper. Even though we didn't get to go to the fall festival with my mom and brother's family, the girls still had a great time! As you can see, ACat was a gypsy this year and Smiley was a Japanese princess (kimono). Like our jack o' lanterns?
