Two Months Old

As of yesterday, this little guy is two months old. I can't believe I'm even writing those words. These last two months have just flown by. Caboose has become a wonderful fixture in our home, yet I still find myself waking up some mornings with butterflies in my stomach and the thought, "I really have a baby boy!" on my mind.


So, what exactly is Caboose up to these days? Well, he sleeps a ton. He eats like a pro (can you tell from the chubby cheeks?). He sometimes gives his Mommie the sweetest of smiles. And, he is attempting to learn to laugh - so precious!


He loves to watch his sisters walk through the room and stop to give him kisses. He is fascinated by fans, lights, and sounds. Unfortunately, he still has to deal with "tummy moments" (i.e., a little gurgling and gas) at times, but overall, life is pretty good for us all.


But, most of all, he has brought such joy and blessings to all of our lives. In his short two months of life, he has given us completion of our family, an eagerness to start a new day with him, and many special memories that I will always treasure in my heart.
