10 months

I haven't done the month-by-month updates but I always enjoy reading others! So, here it goes...

Caboose...You are 10 months old today! It is so hard to believe how fast time has gone by. These 10 months have been so very sweet for me! I have been thinking a lot lately about this time last year. I was big pregnant with you, and two days after Christmas, Dr. B did another sonogram to see just how big you were. Of course, you came out smaller than they anticipated, but you have made up for it these last 10 months! You have so enriched our lives!


Caboose...

is moving everywhere and cruising around on furniture

stood alone for 15-20 seconds the other day

weighed 21 lbs. 13 oz. last Monday when I took him in for a sick visit (with his 6 oz. helmet and clothes)

loves his Mommie the most! :-) He dearly loves his sisters and Daddy, too, but when he is tired or needs some extra snuggling, he comes to Mommie.

declares he is done with baby food and being spoon-fed (He can do it himself!)

eats table food quite well

wants little to do with his exersaucer, walker, johnny-jump-up, etc.

loves his baths and splashing

recently discovered a love for leaf piles (we've never heard him laugh so hard!)

wears size 3 diapers

is now wearing size 12-18 month clothes

loves buttons on remotes, phones, televisions, etc.

says "Ma-ma-ma" and crawls after me

tries to sing with us...makes breathy sounds and babbles along

LOVES his sisters and greets them each morning

flirts with ladies at restaurants and will stare at them until they notice him

just started waving "hi" and "bye-bye"

loves holding my hand when nursing or when rocking to sleep...so sweet

usually naps twice a day and sleeps *pretty well* through the night

isn't a fan of Santa Clause...maybe next year?

loves animals and crawls as fast as he can after them

has 7 teeth and number 8 is on its way up

is having skin troubles - eczema?

seems to recognize the words "kitty", "bath", and "bite"

enjoys books and being read to

is the joy of our lives...we love you Caboose!!
