Turning 5 and a Princess Tea Party

Little Bit pretty much celebrated her birthday for 4 days straight. That's the way to do it, right? The Tuesday before her birthday, she had a Bike-a-thon at school, so we went ahead and gave her her main present - a new bike. She LOVED it!

On her actual birthday - Thursday - she woke up to birthday wishes and gifts before heading to preschool. She was so sweet! We brought cupcakes up to school and she shared them with all her friends. She wanted to go to the zoo in the afternoon, and we had a wonderful time there. She picked Chick-fil-a for supper (imagine that!) and went to bed a happy 5 year old!

Friday was the big party day! We did a Princess Tea Party, with the focus being on Rapunzel. CS and I had worked for a couple of weeks on making a castle prop for the party. I thought it turned out pretty well! The cake was amazing and Little Bit had so much fun with all her friends.

Everyone had to come and go through the castle entrance and drawbridge. Little Bit insisted, you know...

Even Mrs. Palmer came to her party. What a special preschool teacher!

Gifts and more gifts galore...

She is so thrilled to be 5! She even made her first soccer goal on Saturday, and she said it was because she was 5 now!!
