...has had a rough week this week. Poor baby!
She had a wonderful day at school on Tuesday...until about 2 hours after getting home. She told me her stomach hurt, but I thought it was from being hungry. She told me that at school her sandwich fell on the floor and got dirty. The teacher threw it away, she said. And, her vanilla wafers were still in her lunchbox, unopened. So, that left yogurt and tomatoes (her favorite foods!). That would make my stomach hurt if that were all I ate for lunch! Well, she started throwing up about 3:30 and didn't stop until after 10:00! She just laid on a towel between the dining room and kitchen. When she would get sick, I would get a fresh towel out for her to lay on. It kept the mess contained!
She fussed off and on most of the night Tuesday night - her stomach was obviously still bothering her (not to mention it had to be hungry!). But, most of Wednesday, she was acting better - just a touch of fever that morning and a headache. Surely, this was all past, right? Nope - Wednesday night around 2:30 a.m. it started all over again! She still hasn't eaten anything...really since Monday night (since she threw up what little she ate on Tuesday)! So, we are ready for this bug to GO AWAY! And, please don't infect any of the rest of us!!
Since all CS and I have done is wash sheets and towels yesterday and this morning, everyone pitched in this afternoon to help clean our main rooms. You should see ACat clean windows and Smiley buzz around wiping off the baseboards! Oh, how nice to have kids old enough to vacuum and dust! :-)
