Cranial Technologies has been nothing but a positive, good experience. They are always on time, accurate in their record-keeping, efficient in their billing/insurance coordination, and friendly to the entire family. I'm so thankful that God led us there and worked out all the details with insurance!
Upon arrival, Little Bit posed for a picture beside one of the fabulous wall murals. At the evaluation visit a couple of weeks ago, Little Bit noticed immediately that this baby was wearing a helmet. That helped us explain to her what would happen to Caboose. The Physical Therapist working with Caboose also handed Little Bit a helmet to hold and examine...again, preparing her for this new journey. How wonderful of them!
Caboose loved looking at the wall murals, too. These three bouncing balls looked like fun to him!
My mom and Caboose checked out this colorful bunny as we waited a second for the scan.
For the scan, they had to put this pantyhose type "thing" over his head. It kept the hair flat against his head so there would be no interference in the picture captured.
The DSi takes pictures from all angles and creates this video-game type image, from which they will make Caboose's special helmet. They also produce a mannequin head on a stick. It's kind of funny because they have this room that is full of all these "heads" of the children they currently have wearing helmets. At every visit, they pull your child's original head shape and compare it to the current shape of your child's head. Does that make any sense? They said we would get to keep his mannequin when he is released from this process...a souvenir! :-)
Caboose was being a wiggle worm while they were attempting to get the perfect picture. He was just laughing and kicking his feet. The ladies thought he was so sweet...and, of course, I think he is! Afterwards, I pulled off the pantyhose cover and laughed to see that Caboose has enough hair to be messed up! I love it!
We go back on the 19th for the "big" fitting! We decided to take all three girls so they can be a part of all of this. This totally affects them, too, and they need to know how this all goes together. So, we will update more soon!

So glad you have such great people to work with. I'm amazed that Caboose looks MORE like CS every time I see him! How can that be? Who can resist those big blue eyes?
